How my journey began

Misty DeFlitch is an Independent Consultant for Usborne Books & More with Misty's Book Nook, where we believe that reading opens the door to a brighter future. A child’s early years are critical in shaping their development and lifelong learning potential.

Misty’s emphasis will be on providing strategic leadership and excellent customer service, developing systems to efficiently and effectively support the mission, fundraising and building community and individual support for a passionate team.

Prior to joining UBAM, Ms. DeFlitch succeeded as the National Sales Manager for Ruth’s Hospitality Group where she developed & implemented strategic plans for private dining and catering growth on a corporation wide scale & trained over 60+ sales managers.

Fifteen years of hospitality experience across marketing, fundraising and leadership has driven her passion for connection, innovation and story-telling.
